After the success of last years event, we are pleased to confirm that the Run Rider will return on Sunday 14th October 2012 at Ashton Court, Bristol. Based on feedback from the 2011 event, both the run and cycle courses will be slightly tweaked to ensure a challenging course and entries are open now for both the standard and classic categories. We look forward to seeing you all at the event in October!
THE RUN RIDER IS THE LATEST ADDITION TO THE BRISTOL OFFROAD CALENDAR AND WILL OFFER RUNNERS/MOUNTAIN BIKER RIDERS ONE OF THE BEST COURSES IN THE COUNTRY.
Being run in conjunction with popular Bristol Oktoberfest (www.bike-fest.com) the Run Rider will not just benefit from one of the most fun to ride mountain bike courses but will also deliver a tough but beautiful running course.
The event will take place on Sunday 14th October 2012 and will have two race distances – Standard and a Classic option – so that everyone can find the right distance and level of challenge.
Location for the Run Rider will be Ashton Court, Bristol. Easy to get to and just a stone’s throw away from the Clifton Suspension Bridge and the centre of Bristol.
So if you are a runner with a bike, a biker with some running shoes or a dedicated duathlon competitor, come along and have a go at this fantastic event.

A big thank you to everyone that took part in first Run Rider, held on Sunday 16th October 2011, a tough course combined with great autumn weather ensured a successful event.
