Directions to the VDO RunRider – The Bristol Off Road Duathlon

Look out for the directional signs to the event which will be erected from either end of Beggar Bush Lane (B3129)

From the North:
Come down the M5, past the interchange with the M4, until junction 19 (Portbury Dock and Easton in Gordano Services), take the A369 towards Bristol, after approx 3.5miles turn right at the traffic lights (B3129, Beggar Bush Lane) – after a mile or so along Beggar Bush Lane, take your first left into Longwood Lane (just past Redwood Lodge) then turn left again at the sign post into the event. Parking will be sign posted.

NOTE: When your on Beggar Bush Lane, IGNORE the turning into the Bristol Cathedral Playing fields off this road as you need to access them via the back entrance on Longwood Lane

From the West:
Take the M4 towards Bristol at the interchange head down the M5 until junction 19 (Portbury Dock and Easton in Gordano Services), take the A369 towards Bristol, after approx 3.5miles turn right at the traffic lights (B3129, Beggar Bush Lane, then after a mile or so take your first left into Longwood Lane (just past Redwood Lodge) then turn left again at the sign post into the event. Parking will be sign posted.

From the East:
Take the M4 towards Bristol. Ignore the M32 exit for Bristol and continue on to the interchange, then follow the M5 until junction 19 (Portbury Dock and Easton in Gordano Services), take the A369 towards Bristol, after approx 3.5miles turn right at the traffic lights (B3129, Beggar Bush Lane), then after a mile or so take your first left into Longwood Lane (just past Redwood Lodge) then turn left again at the sign post into the event. Parking will be sign posted.

From the South:
Come up the M5 until junction 19 (Portbury Dock and Easton in Gordano Services), take the A369 towards Bristol, after approx 3.5miles turn right at the traffic lights (B3129, Beggar Bush Lane), then after a mile or so take your first left into Longwood Lane (just past Redwood Lodge) then turn left again at the sign post into the event. Parking will be sign posted.

When you arrive, the main gate may be locked, if it is, the key can be found under the road cone on the right hand side of the track in front of you, please open the gate and lock it behind you and replace the key under the cone. VERY IMPORTANT!
