Susie is a registered general nurse (RGN) who also holds a BSc in Nursing and an MSc in Nursing Practice.

Having had over 32 years experience both in and out of the NHS, she chose to specialise in Aesthetic Medicine and has been an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Independent Nurse Prescriber since 2004. Susie’s dedication to ongoing professional development ensures her skills are continually being refined and updated. She has undertaken her Medical Aesthetic training with some of the leading edge trainers within the Aesthetic arena.

Susie Byass is professionally accountable to and regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council, which allows her to practice and ensures professional integrity and standards are upheld at all times. For added reassurance, Susie is also a member of BACN (British Association of Cosmetic Nurses), RCN (Royal College of Nursing) and NPA (Nurse Prescribing Association).

Currently no, however following the PIP breast implant scandal the Secretary of State for Health in August 2012 set up ‘The Review of the Regulation of Cosmetic Interventions’. Its aim is to assess and review how the industry could be improved to better protect patients and the public. Recommendations are due to be made shortly by Lord Keogh, Medical Director of the NHS. Rejuvenating Solutions welcome this review in hope that regulation is introduced to ensure that only appropriate qualified and regulated medical and nursing professionals can deliver treatments.
