Description
The Hard Line (Grey) is an exercise in defining shape, form, composition and balance as well as material specularity and reflection.
The Viewer is encouraged to interact with the piece as the polished steel surface reflects light depending on the four dimensions from which it is observed.
The incisive precision with which the laser-cut stainless steel lines are presented represent definitive structure, power, strength, velocity and direction.
This is an abstract piece designed on computer and then laser-cut in stainless-steel and 3mm MDF. The pieces are then HVLP sprayed for a smooth finish. The frame is cedar wood which has been Waxed with amber tinted OSMO Oil.
