Hand printed in Cornwall, and made in London. The inks we use are water based and environmentally friendly, and our fabric is unbleached. Our cushions have a concealed zip and plain back with our label sewn on. Cotton/linen mix. Dry clean or cool hand wash.

Each cushion has a unique handmade quality as it is cut from individually printed short runs of fabric. It may therefore vary slightly from the one photographed as no two cushions are identical and any variations and irregularities in the fabric are characteristic of hand printing.

Epping Smith

We are two friends, artist Emma McClure and Interior decorator Catherine Cummins who have set up a new design studio called Epping Smith. We hand print fabric to make cushions, pilliows, lampshades, tea towels, deck chairs, bags and accessories.

Inspired by Cornwall, our decorative hand printed products celebrate the joy of simple pattern and colour as well as the intricacy beauty of the handmade.

 

We print by hand using silk screen frames onto unbleached cotton linen fabric and we use inks that are water based and environmentally friendly.
