Pied Wagtail And Knap Weed Lampshade

Pictured is a beautiful hand crafted linen lampshade depicting a Pied Wagtail among the Knap Weed Flowers.

This unique lampshade, with its rich Olive Green accent, will add interest and serene beauty to your home and a pair of these lampshades look stunning on either side of a bed. It makes a beautiful and distinctive gift for nature lovers.

It is hand crafted in my Scottish island studio using appliqué, machine embroidery, print on linen and hand dyed silk. Each lampshade is individually crafted with hand drawn and hand dyed detail. This non mechanised approach means that each lampshade has its own distinctive quality and may differ slightly from the photo.

The linen version of this shade is fitted with an opaque, champagne (metallic) inner lining.

This shade can be ordered with a natural linen base fabric or cream calico for a lighter, cleaner look.

You can make a real statement with this lampshade by personalising it with up to eight words which I print onto the coloured panel aound the base. You could, for example request ” Welcome to Hanover Guest House” for great foyer impact or “Sweet dreams Clara” for a beside lamp. Just write your chosen text into the option box and I’ll take it from there!

This lampshade can be made to hang as a pendant (ceiling light) or sit on a lamp base. See options to choose.

It can also be ordered complete with a Mogwaii log lamp base (as pictured). Each log base is entirely unique with its own natural markings and form (see picture for example of variety) and comes in three approximate sizes.
